Jae has over 8 years of experience in architecture and design industry including green building design. As a LEED AP, he led and managed the first LEED platinum certification in Asia for Samsung C&T and worked in various prestigious architecture firms such as Atelier Jean Nouvel, Coop Himme(l)blau and Shigeru Ban Architects. Jae left his home country when he was 14, traveling and studying in Singapore, Canada, the US, and France. He started his architectural education at Illinois Institute of Technology and received French Diplôme d’Architecte from Ecole Speciale d'Architecture in Paris.

Zhiping has more than 15 years of experience in search technology and led multiple projects including Microsoft Live Search for the China market, large scale scrape data analysis, search relevance improvement with question answering and other natural language techniques. He worked on language related projects at eBay as a staff engineer using machine learning approaches to improve search quality. From 2002 to 2004, he held a research scientist position at Computational Linguistics Department, Saarland University, Saarbrücken, Germany. He holds Master of Science in Information Science from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
